This achievement marks the highest capacity addition in a single quarter since the company’s inception, spanning both its Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) businesses. This milestone significantly surpasses its cumulative energization of 533 MW by December 2024.
Record Capacity Energization Achieved
KPI Green Energy Limited has reported its highest-ever capacity energization, adding over 630 MW DC of capacity during the June-August quarter. This significant achievement encompasses projects executed under both the company’s Independent Power Producer (IPP) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) verticals. This performance marks a pivotal moment, surpassing the cumulative capacity energized in the approximately 17 years prior to December 2024, which stood at 533 MW.

The company views this milestone as a strong indicator of its execution capabilities and a crucial step towards achieving KP Group’s broader target of over 10 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
