Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Kirloskar Advanced Systems Private Limited (KASPL), has officially received approval for the commencement of business. The subsidiary was incorporated on 30th March 2026 with an initial capital investment of INR 9 crore. This strategic development allows the subsidiary to initiate its operations as a dedicated solutions provider for the engineering and industrial sectors, including defense and railways.
Expanding Engineering Capabilities
Following its incorporation, Kirloskar Advanced Systems Private Limited (KASPL) has received formal authorization to begin operations. Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited has invested INR 9,00,00,000 (Indian Rupees Nine Crore) into the subsidiary through the acquisition of 90,00,000 equity shares at a face value of INR 10 per share. This investment gives the parent company 100% ownership of the new entity.
Strategic Business Focus
The subsidiary is positioned to serve as a versatile industrial player, focusing on sectors such as defence and railways. Its operational mandate includes the design, development, manufacturing, and maintenance of a broad range of industrial equipment. This includes power generating sets, motors, specialized platforms, sub-systems, and unmanned systems. Furthermore, the entity will offer Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) services to support its diverse product portfolio.
Future Operational Readiness
As the entity scales its business, it is prepared to secure necessary industrial licenses and regulatory approvals required to manufacture and supply high-tech equipment for government and private sector clients. By establishing this dedicated arm, Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited aims to enhance its presence in integrated engineering solutions and strengthen its overall value proposition in the competitive industrial equipment market.
