Karur Vysya Bank: Opens 2 New Branches in Tamil Nadu

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has announced the opening of two new branches, one in P N Pudur, Coimbatore, and another in Labbaikudikadu, Perambalur district. These expansions aim to deepen the bank’s presence in Tamil Nadu, serving retail, MSME, and agricultural customers with its full suite of financial products and digital services.

Karur Vysya Bank Expands Network with New Branches

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB), a leading private sector bank in India, has further strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu by inaugurating two new branches. The new branches are located in P N Pudur, Coimbatore, and Labbaikudikadu, within the Perambalur district. These openings are part of KVB’s strategy to reach more customers and enhance accessibility to its banking services.

Coimbatore Branch Inauguration

The branch in P N Pudur, Coimbatore, became operational on September 23, 2026, marking the bank’s 920th branch nationwide. The inauguration was graced by Dr. M. Raveendran, Registrar (In-Charge) and Acting Vice-Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. This branch is poised to serve retail, MSME, and agricultural clients with a comprehensive range of deposit, loan, and remittance products, supported by KVB’s digital banking solutions.

Labbaikudikadu Branch Opens in Perambalur

Simultaneously, KVB opened its new branch in Labbaikudikadu, Perambalur district, also on September 23, 2026. This expansion in a semi-urban and agricultural catchment area aims to cater to the financial needs of local communities and small businesses. The branch offers KVB’s full spectrum of banking services, including its KVB DLite mobile app, which provides over 150 financial and non-financial services.

Strategic Growth and Digital Integration

Shri Ramesh Babu, Managing Director & CEO of Karur Vysya Bank, commented on the expansion, stating, “Our business is growing strongly, and we want that growth to reach the customers who power it.” He highlighted the bank’s commitment to serving MSMEs and agricultural businesses, emphasizing the role of both physical branches and digital services in providing reliable banking partnerships. Tamil Nadu remains a key focus market for KVB’s deepening presence.

Financial Snapshot

As of June 30, 2026, KVB reported a total business of ₹2,27,267 crore. The bank also achieved its highest-ever quarterly net profit of ₹756 crore in Q1FY27, underscoring its robust financial performance. KVB currently operates through a network of 921 branches, supported by 2,169 ATMs and cash recyclers across the country.
