Karnataka Bank: Shareholders Approve Dividend and Director Appointments at AGM

Karnataka Bank Limited held its 102nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 22, 2026. Shareholders overwhelmingly approved all seven resolutions presented. Key approvals included the final dividend of ₹5.00 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, along with the re-appointment of a Non-Executive Director and the appointment of a new Executive Director. The audited financial statements were also ratified.

Karnataka Bank’s 102nd AGM Approves Key Resolutions

Karnataka Bank Limited successfully conducted its 102nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 22, 2026. The meeting, held virtually from Mangaluru, saw shareholders give their approval to all seven resolutions placed before them with a significant majority. The AGM was presided over by Mr. Pradeep Kumar P, Chairman.

Dividend and Director Appointments Approved

Among the crucial resolutions approved by the shareholders was the declaration of a final dividend of ₹5.00 per equity share for the financial year that concluded on March 31, 2026. The shareholders also ratified the audited standalone and consolidated financial statements for FY 2025-26. Furthermore, key personnel changes were approved, including the re-appointment of Mr. B. R. Ashok as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director. The appointments of Mrs. Biji SS as Executive Director and Dr. M. Aruna Shyam and Mr. Parthasarathi Periaswamy as Non-Executive Independent Directors were also confirmed. M/s Batliboi & Purohit were appointed as the Joint Statutory Auditors of the Bank.
