Financial Highlights for Q1 FY27

The company reported a 3% increase in Revenue from Operation, amounting to ₹773 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared to ₹751 crore in the same period last year. However, Operating EBITDA saw a significant decrease of -47.9%, dropping to ₹64.7 crore from ₹124.2 crore year-on-year. Consequently, Profit After Tax (PAT) declined by -50.8% to ₹47.6 crore from ₹96.8 crore in the prior year’s comparable quarter. The revenue growth excludes the value growth from Pril & Fa, which stood at 8.1%.

Segment Performance and Market Insights

Jyothy Labs operates primarily in the Home Care and Personal Care segments. The presentation detailed performance across various categories, with Fabric Care showing a 14.1% growth in Q1 FY27. Home Care (with Pril) experienced a -9.0% growth, while Home Care (without Pril) grew by 2.4%. Personal Care saw a modest growth of 0.4%. The market scenario section highlighted mixed demand trends, with rural resilience and subdued urban consumption, alongside crude-linked input inflation affecting gross margins.

Strategic Approach for FY27

Looking ahead to FY27, Jyothy Labs plans to drive volume-led growth while protecting competitiveness across categories. Margin recovery is expected to be progressive, contingent on inflation and geopolitical risks. The company also aims to scale recent New Product Developments (NPDs), including Exo Dishwash Liquid and Maxo Incense Sticks, and strengthen its presence in Modern Trade, e-commerce, and quick commerce channels. A strong focus on operational excellence, supply-chain efficiency, and improved GT productivity is also a key part of the strategy.

Shareholding Pattern

As of June 30, 2026, the shareholding pattern indicates that the Promoter and Promoter Group holds 62.89% of the company’s shares, followed by DII (14.21%), FII (12.72%), and Public (10.18%).
