JSW Steel: Reports 24.02 Lakh Tonnes Crude Steel Output for July 2026

JSW Steel has announced its consolidated crude steel production figures for July 2026, totaling 24.02 Lakh tonnes, a 3% increase year-on-year. JSW Steel Announces July 2026 Production Figures

JSW Steel reported its consolidated crude steel production for the month of July 2026, reaching 24.02 Lakh tonnes. This figure represents a 3% growth compared to the same period last year. The company’s Indian operations were the primary contributors, producing 23.39 Lakh tonnes, with capacity utilization standing at 87% for the month.

Production Break-up and Capacity Utilization

The production details for July 2026 are as follows:

  • Indian Operations: 23.39 Lakh tonnes (YoY: +4%)
  • JSW Steel USA – Ohio: 0.63 Lakh tonnes (YoY: -13%)
  • Consolidated Production: 24.02 Lakh tonnes (YoY: +3%)

The company noted that the capacity utilization for its Indian operations was 87%. Additionally, the blast furnace BF3 at its Vijayanagar plant is reportedly ramping up well, operating above 80% of its rated capacity following its restart on June 23, 2026.
