JSW Infrastructure Limited has officially entered into a Concession Agreement with Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority, Kolkata, for the Integrated Development of the Outer Container Terminal & Berth No. 1 through 5. This agreement, signed on August 12, 2026, along with a previous agreement for Berth Nos. 7 and 8, will increase the company’s aggregate capacity to approximately 1.4 Million TEU per annum, to be developed in phases.

JSW Infrastructure Limited announced today, August 12, 2026, the signing of a Concession Agreement with the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port Authority, Kolkata. This agreement is for the Integrated Development of the Outer Container Terminal & Berth No. 1 through 5 at Netaji Subhash Dock, Kolkata Dock System, under a Design Build Finance Operate Transfer (DBFOT) PPP model.
Increased Capacity and Future Growth
The newly signed Concession Agreement, combined with the prior agreement dated September 15, 2025, for the reconstruction of Berth No. 8 and mechanization of Berth Nos. 7 and 8, will significantly boost JSW Infrastructure’s operational capacity. The aggregate capacity under these two concessions is projected to reach approximately 1.4 Million TEU per annum. The development of this enhanced capacity will be undertaken in phases, positioning JSW Infrastructure for substantial growth in the port and logistics sector.
