JSW Energy Reports Record Annual Growth and Strategic Expansion for FY26

JSW Energy has announced its highest-ever annual financial results for FY26, driven by massive operational scale and strategic acquisitions. The company reported a significant 81% increase in annual EBITDA and a 39% rise in annual PAT. With a 2.6 GW capacity addition during the year and successful integration of key assets, the company continues to advance its Strategy 3.0, aiming for a total generation capacity of 30 GW by 2030.

Financial Highlights for FY26

JSW Energy has achieved a monumental fiscal performance in FY26, reporting a robust annual revenue of ₹18,901 crore. The company’s annual EBITDA climbed by 81% to ₹11,041 crore, while the Profit After Tax (PAT) surged by 39% to ₹2,239 crore. This growth reflects the impact of successful capacity expansions and the strategic integration of major assets including KSK Mahanadi and the O2 Power portfolio.

Operational Success and Capacity Expansion

The company expanded its total installed capacity by 2,579 MW over the last twelve months, bringing its total operational capacity to 13.45 GW. Operational efficiency was a major highlight, with power sales volume increasing by 58% year-on-year. Thermal generation saw a growth of 43%, while renewable energy generation increased by 68%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the company’s diversified energy strategy.

Corporate Actions and Dividend

Reflecting the strong financial position and confidence in future growth, the Board of Directors has recommended a dividend of ₹2 per share (20%) for the financial year 2025-26. Furthermore, the company continues to strengthen its balance sheet and vertical integration capabilities. This includes the commissioning of India’s largest Green Hydrogen plant and the operationalization of a 5.0 GWh Battery assembly facility in Pune, positioning JSW Energy as a key player in the energy transition.

Future Outlook

JSW Energy remains firmly on track to deliver its Strategy 3.0 objectives. With 14 GW of power projects currently under construction and a clear roadmap for further growth, the company is targeting a total power generation capacity of 30 GW by 2030. The recent acquisitions and the development of a Central Command Centre for real-time operational insights underscore the company’s commitment to long-term sustainable value creation.
