The bank reported a net profit of ₹326.43 crore, a decrease from the previous year’s ₹501.42 crore. However, the bank saw a significant 23% growth in both its gross loan portfolio and total deposits, reaching ₹36,289 crore and ₹35,784 crore, respectively. The bank also highlighted a Gross NPA of 2.46% and a Net Interest Margin of 6.7%.

Jana Small Finance Bank Limited has released its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The bank reported a net profit after tax (PAT) of ₹326.43 crore, a decline compared to the previous financial year’s profit of ₹501.42 crore. The Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at ₹326.4 crore for FY26, down from ₹473.7 crore in FY25.
Growth in Advances and Deposits
Despite the dip in profitability, the bank witnessed substantial growth in its business volumes. Advances Under Management increased by 23%, reaching ₹36,289 crore for FY26, up from ₹29,545 crore in FY25. The secured portfolio also saw a strong growth of 28% year-on-year, now constituting 73% of the total advances. Total Deposits grew by 23% to ₹35,784 crore, with Retail Deposits including CASA contributing significantly.
Key Financial Metrics
The bank’s Net Interest Income grew by 10.13%, amounting to ₹2,593.12 crore in FY26. The Net Interest Margin was reported at 6.7% for FY26, a decrease from 7.6% in the previous year. The Capital Adequacy Ratio (CRAR) stood at 19.38% as of March 31, 2026, well above the regulatory minimum of 15%. The bank’s asset quality remained robust, with a Gross NPA of 2.46% and a Net NPA of 0.92%.
Operational Performance
The number of banking outlets increased to 822 in March 2026 from 802 in March 2025. The Cost to Income ratio for FY26 was 67.8%, an increase from 61.3% in FY25. The Return on Assets for FY26 was 0.79%, down from 1.49% in FY25.
