Jain Irrigation Reports Q1 FY27 Results

Jain Irrigation Systems Limited (JISL) announced its financial results for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2027 (Q1 FY27), ending June 30, 2026. The company’s consolidated revenue was ₹1,508.4 crore, a marginal decrease of 2.4% compared to ₹1,545.6 crore in Q1 FY26. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹164.3 crore, down 18.7% from ₹202.0 crore in the prior year’s corresponding quarter. The consolidated EBITDA margin was 10.9%.

Standalone Performance and Key Highlights

On a standalone basis, revenue for Q1 FY27 was ₹699.3 crore, a decline of 23.9% from ₹919.2 crore in Q1 FY26. Standalone EBITDA was ₹84.3 crore, a decrease of 31.7% from ₹123.4 crore. The standalone EBITDA margin was 12.1%.

Commenting on the results, Mr. Anil Jain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, stated that consolidated revenues were broadly steady year-on-year, supported by strong performance in the Agro Processing business and overseas Plastic operations. He noted that volatility in polymer prices and monsoon timing influenced customer purchases, leading some domestic pipe and drip business sales to shift to subsequent periods. Encouragingly, business momentum improved through May and June, with successful price pass-throughs for higher raw material costs.

Outlook and Guidance

The outlook for the company is positive, with stabilising polymer prices and expectations of improved rainfall strengthening agricultural demand. Jain Irrigation remains confident in delivering double-digit revenue growth in FY27 and reiterates its EBITDA margin guidance of around 14% on a standalone basis and 12.5% on a consolidated basis. The company anticipates a significantly stronger performance in the second half of FY27 and is on track to achieve its full-year objectives, subject to geopolitical stability.
