ITC: Q1 FY27 Revenue Grows 28%, FMCG Segment Up 12%

ITC Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated Gross Revenue of ₹29,410 crore, marking a substantial increase of 27.8% year-on-year. The FMCG segment demonstrated robust performance with revenue up 12% YoY, while the Paperboards, Paper & Packaging segment saw a 9% revenue increase. Standalone Gross Revenue grew by 28.1% to ₹26,794 crore.

ITC Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Financials

ITC Limited announced robust financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, ending June 30, 2026. The company’s consolidated Gross Revenue surged by 27.8% year-on-year to ₹29,410 crore. This growth was driven by strong performances across its diverse business segments.

Standalone Performance Highlights

On a standalone basis, ITC registered a significant increase in Gross Revenue, reaching ₹26,794 crore, up 28.1% compared to the same period last year. However, standalone Net Revenue saw a decrease of 14.4% to ₹16,812 crore, with the ex-Agri figure showing a decline of 6% YoY. EBITDA and PAT declined by 27.9% and 27.1% respectively.

Consolidated Financial Overview

Consolidated EBITDA stood at ₹5,181 crore, down 24.0% year-on-year. Consolidated PAT (before exceptional items) was ₹4,103 crore, a decrease of 23.2%. The company also reported exceptional items amounting to ₹406 crore, related to the acquisition of Sproutlife Foods Private Limited. This resulted in a consolidated PBT of ₹5,861 crore (-17.8%) and PAT of ₹4,509 crore (-15.6%).

Segment-wise Performance

FMCG Segment

The FMCG segment showed strong momentum, with total segment revenue increasing by 53% to ₹21,866 crore. FMCG – Cigarettes revenue grew by a remarkable 81% to ₹15,384 crore. The FMCG – Others category also saw a healthy growth of 12% in revenue, reaching ₹6,482 crore. Segment Results for FMCG Others were up 21% YoY, with an EBITDA margin expansion of 55 bps YoY (ex-Sresta) to 10.0%.

Agri Business

The Agri Business segment experienced a revenue decline of 17%, amounting to ₹8,082 crore. This performance was impacted by West Asia conflict-led trade disruptions and a high base. However, the underlying revenue saw a 9% increase.

Paperboards, Paper & Packaging

The Paperboards, Paper & Packaging segment reported a revenue growth of 9%, reaching ₹2,307 crore. The segment PBIT saw a substantial increase of 38% YoY, indicating improved operational performance and broad-based improvement in net realisations.

Fresh Food Business

The Fresh Food Business continued its robust growth trajectory with a 90% YoY increase in GMV, crossing ₹300 crore ARR. The platform now operates 75 cloud kitchens across 5 cities.
