INOX Wind Limited (IWL), a leading wind energy solutions provider in India, has announced the successful acquisition of a repeat 200 MW turnkey order from NLC India Limited. This significant contract, valued at approximately ₹1,600 crore, marks a crucial step in the company’s growth trajectory and its commitment to supporting India’s renewable energy targets.
Project Scope and Execution
The project will be executed on a comprehensive turnkey basis, with INOX Wind responsible for the entire lifecycle of the wind farm. This includes the supply of wind turbine generators, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. Furthermore, INOX Wind will also provide post-commissioning operations and maintenance (O&M) services, ensuring the long-term efficiency and performance of the project. The commissioning of this 200 MW project is expected to be completed within 24 months from the date of the Letter of Award (LoA).
Strengthening Order Book and Market Position
With this new order, INOX Wind’s consolidated order book now stands at an impressive 4.7 GW. This diverse portfolio includes contracts with commercial & industrial (C&I) customers, public sector undertakings (PSUs), and independent power producers (IPPs), providing strong revenue visibility. The company highlights that this achievement reinforces its leadership in delivering large-scale, integrated wind energy solutions and supports India’s accelerated renewable energy capacity addition goals.
