Infosys: Mitrankur Majumdar Appointed Segment Head for SURE

Infosys has announced the appointment of Mitrankur Majumdar as the new Segment Head for its Services Utilities Resources and Energy (‘SURE’) division. This appointment, effective immediately, follows the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approval by the Board. Majumdar, an Executive Vice President, brings over 30 years of experience in technology and global business leadership to this role. Effective August 24, 2026, Mitrankur Majumdar has been appointed as the new Segment Head for the Services Utilities Resources and Energy (‘SURE’) division. With over 30 years of experience, Majumdar has transitioned from a technology practitioner to a global business leader, possessing a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and market leadership. He has previously served as the Global Head of Services at Infosys.

The company also clarified that the current Segment Head for SURE, Ashiss Kumar Dash, will be dedicating more time to external training and transition activities, indicating a planned succession and development process.
