Info Edge Announces Key Investments

Info Edge (India) Limited has approved two significant investment initiatives during its Committee of Executive Directors meeting held on August 14, 2026. These strategic moves are designed to bolster the company’s growth trajectory and expand its investment portfolio.

Investment in Udyogtech Ventures (‘Factrika’)

The company is set to invest approximately ₹8.90 crore in Udyogtech Ventures Private Limited, which operates an online platform named ‘Factrika’. This investment will be made in two tranches. The first tranche involves subscribing to 1 equity share and 3,098 Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS), resulting in an 18.58% shareholding on a fully converted and diluted basis. This initial investment is subject to customary conditions precedent.

Furthermore, Info Edge has secured the right to subscribe to additional securities in a second tranche, which could increase its shareholding in Factrika to approximately 26% on a fully converted and diluted basis. This second tranche is contingent upon the fulfillment of certain conditions and performance milestones.

Factrika, incorporated on July 2, 2024, operates as an on-demand industrial workforce platform connecting manufacturers with skilled workers. The investment is considered a strategic move to potentially yield business synergies and align with the company’s broader strategic objectives. The transaction is being conducted on an arm’s length basis.

Investment in Wholly-Owned Subsidiary

In a separate development, Info Edge will invest approximately ₹90 crore in Startup Investments (Holding) Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary. This subsidiary is primarily engaged in direct and indirect investments in tech companies and related activities, including investments in Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).

The details of these investments, as required by SEBI regulations, have been provided in Annexure A and B of the disclosure.

Meeting Details

The Committee of Executive Directors meeting, where these approvals were granted, commenced at 02:45 pm and concluded at 02:55 pm on August 14, 2026.
