Indian Bank: Senior Management Personnel Changes Announced

Indian Bank has announced new assignments for its senior management personnel, effective August 1, 2026. Shri Himanshu Kansal has been appointed Chief General Manager (CMC & Recovery), while Shri Deepak Gupta is now Chief General Manager (Corporate Credit & Mid Corporate Credit). These changes are in line with SEBI regulations and aim to align with the bank’s strategic objectives.

Senior Management Realignments at Indian Bank

Indian Bank has officially communicated changes in its senior management personnel and functional heads. These adjustments are made in accordance with the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and are effective from August 1, 2026. The bank aims to leverage the expertise of its senior leaders for enhanced operational efficiency and strategic growth.

Key Personnel Appointments

The following senior management changes have been implemented:

  • Shri Himanshu Kansal has been assigned the role of Chief General Manager, CMC & Recovery. Shri Kansal is an engineering graduate with a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance Management. He also holds diplomas in International Banking & Finance and Treasury Investment & Risk Management. A Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB), he brings over 31 years of rich banking experience to his new position.
  • Shri Deepak Gupta has been appointed as the Chief General Manager, Corporate Credit & Mid Corporate Credit. Shri Gupta holds an MBA, B.Com, and is a CAIIB. His extensive banking career spans over 31 years, providing a strong foundation for his leadership in corporate and mid-corporate credit operations.

These changes in assignments are intended to further strengthen the bank’s senior management team and drive its business objectives forward.
