India Glycols: Urges Physical Shareholders to Update KYC Details

India Glycols Limited is issuing a reminder to its physical shareholders, urging them to furnish their Permanent Account Number (PAN), Know Your Client (KYC) details, and nomination choices. This action is mandated by SEBI and is crucial for shareholders to lodge grievances, avail service requests, and receive payments like dividends and interest. Failure to comply may result in payments being processed only through electronic modes after April 1, 2024.

Mandatory KYC Update for Physical Shareholders

India Glycols Limited is reiterating its request to all shareholders holding securities in physical form to provide essential documentation for KYC updation. This initiative, in line with directives from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), aims to ensure all shareholder records are current and compliant.

Key Information Required

Shareholders are required to submit the following details:

  • Permanent Account Number (PAN), which must be linked with Aadhar.
  • Know Your Client (KYC) details.
  • Choice of Nomination.
  • Updated Contact details, including Postal Address with PIN Code and Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Specimen Signature.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

The company has previously communicated these requirements via letters dated January 14, 2022, May 13, 2023, May 24, 2024, and August 8, 2025. Shareholders who have not yet updated their information will face certain limitations:

  • They will only be able to lodge grievances or avail service requests from the Registrar and Transfer Agent (RTA) after furnishing the necessary documents.
  • All payments, including dividends, interest, or redemption amounts, will be processed exclusively through electronic modes effective April 1, 2024, contingent upon the complete submission of all required details.

Submission Process

Shareholders are requested to submit the required forms to the RTA, MCS Share Transfer Agent Limited, or via email at [email protected]. Relevant forms include:

  • Form ISR-1 for registering PAN, KYC details, or changes.
  • Form ISR-2 for banker’s confirmation of signature.
  • Form SH-13 for nomination.
  • Form SH-14 for cancellation/variation of nomination.
  • Form ISR-3 for opting out of nomination.

Alternatively, shareholders can choose to dematerialize their physical shares to mitigate risks associated with physical holdings and avail of the benefits of electronic trading.
