HUDCO has formalized several collaborations during India Maritime Week 2025 through the signing of non-binding Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) on October 28, 2025.
Key MoUs Details
Paradip Port Authority (PPA)
HUDCO will explore funding opportunities up to Rs. 5100 Crore for new and existing projects undertaken by PPA. The collaboration aims to modernize port infrastructure through direct implementation or PPP mode. Joint conferences and workshops will facilitate capacity building for both organizations.
Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA)
HUDCO will explore providing funds up to Rs. 487 Crore to VPA for new projects and refinancing existing ones. Similar to the PPA agreement, this collaboration focuses on development and modernization through direct implementation or PPP models, including joint workshops.
Mumbai Port Authority (MbPA)
This MoU centers on the development of a “Maritime Iconic Structure” in Mumbai. HUDCO will be involved in the planning, designing, financing, and execution of the project, leveraging its infrastructure development expertise.
