Hitachi Energy India has agreed to transfer its obligations related to a High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) project to Adani Energy Solutions Limited (APL). The project involves transmitting renewable energy from Bhadla III (Rajasthan) and Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh). The transfer is formalized through a novation agreement dated November 14, 2025, where APL will assume all rights and responsibilities previously held by RPPTL under existing supply and service contracts. All existing project terms remain unchanged.

Hitachi Energy India has announced the transfer of obligations pertaining to its High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) project to Adani Energy Solutions Limited (APL). This transfer encompasses all obligations under the supply and services contracts dated April 3, 2025.
Details of the Novation Agreement
The transfer of obligations to APL, formerly known as Adani Energy Solutions Step-Ten Limited, was executed via a novation agreement dated November 14, 2025. Under this agreement, APL assumes all rights and obligations initially held by Rajasthan Part I Power Transmission Limited (RPPTL) concerning the HVDC project.
Project Scope and Continuity
The original project, involving the establishment of an HVDC link to transmit renewable energy from Bhadla III (Rajasthan) and Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh), remains unchanged. All terms and conditions of the project, as previously disclosed, will continue to apply, with APL now acting as the ‘Incoming Party’. The transfer ensures project continuity and alignment with the evolving structure of Adani Energy Solutions.
