Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) announced significant changes in its leadership structure. Shri Rajneesh Narang superannuated as Director-Finance and CFO on May 31, 2026. Consequently, Shri K S Shetty has assumed the additional charge of Director-Finance, effective June 01, 2026. Additionally, Shri K Vinod has been appointed as the new CFO, also effective June 01, 2026, bringing extensive experience in financial management to the role.
Leadership Transitions at HPCL
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has announced key changes to its Directorate and the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). These changes are effective from June 01, 2026.
Director-Finance and CFO Succession
Shri Rajneesh Narang, who held the positions of Director-Finance and CFO, has retired from the Corporation’s services on May 31, 2026. Following his superannuation, Shri K S Shetty, who currently serves as Director-Human Resources, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director-Finance. This interim arrangement is for a period of three months or until a regular incumbent is appointed, whichever comes earlier.
Appointment of New CFO
In line with the succession plan, Shri K Vinod has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the Company. Shri K Vinod, an Executive Director in Corporate Finance, brings a wealth of experience, including prior service as CFO for a defined period. He is a Chartered Accountant and has held senior positions within the company, managing diverse financial operations for over three decades.
Authorized Personnel for Disclosures
Consequent to these changes, Shri K S Shetty and Shri Rakesh Kumar Singh (Company Secretary & Compliance Officer) are authorized to determine the materiality of events and information and make necessary disclosures to the stock exchanges, as per the Company’s policy and SEBI regulations, effective June 01, 2026.
