Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) announced that Shri Amol Babulal Taori, Executive Director (I/C) – International Trade, has been relieved from his services effective August 17, 2026. This departure is to facilitate his assumption of the role of Director (Finance) at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, as per a Government of India order. Consequently, Shri Taori has ceased to be a Senior Management Personnel of HPCL.
Senior Management Transition at HPCL
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has officially confirmed the departure of Shri Amol Babulal Taori from his position as Executive Director (I/C) – International Trade. The relief from his duties was effective at the close of business on August 17, 2026. This change in leadership is a direct consequence of an order from the Government of India, Ministry of Power.
New Role at Power Grid Corporation
Shri Taori is set to assume a significant new role as Director (Finance) at the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. This appointment is in line with the directives issued by the Government of India’s Ministry of Power, specified under order number 25-11/3/2025-PG dated August 12, 2026. As a result of this transition, Shri Amol Babulal Taori has also ceased to hold the designation of Senior Management Personnel within HPCL since August 17, 2026.
