This brings the company’s cumulative holding of CCNs in Sicona to 1,84,47,000. The investment does not confer additional voting rights or control at present.
Further Investment in Sicona Battery Technologies
Himadri Speciality Chemical Ltd has announced a further investment in its subsidiary, Sicona Battery Technologies Pty Ltd. This latest remittance of AUD 16,94,000 was made in cash for the subscription of 16,94,000 Compulsorily Convertible Notes (CCNs), each with a face value of AUD 1.00. This follows a previous investment announced on 13 May 2025, where the Board of Directors had approved further investment through CCNs.
Cumulative Holdings and Future Conversion
With this latest tranche, Himadri Speciality Chemical’s cumulative holding of CCNs in Sicona Battery Technologies now stands at 1,84,47,000. The company has previously invested AUD 1,67,53,000 in cash towards CCNs. It is noted that these CCNs are convertible into shares of Sicona as per the agreed terms, and the current investment does not grant any additional voting rights or control to Himadri Speciality Chemical.
Disclosure Compliance
The intimation is made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company confirmed that information as required under SEBI Listing Regulations and the SEBI Master Circular dated November 11, 2024, has already been provided to the Stock Exchanges via letter Ref. No HSCL/ Stock-Ex/2025-26/26, dated 13/05/2025, with no changes to the previously disclosed information beyond this update.
