Hero MotoCorp, a global leader in motorcycles and scooters, has reported an impressive 19% year-on-year growth in its dispatches for July 2026. The company dispatched a total of 533,416 units, an increase from the 449,755 units recorded in the same period last year. This sustained upward trajectory highlights the company’s strong market presence and robust sales performance.

VIDA Electric Mobility Expands Global Footprint and Brand Identity

The company’s emerging mobility unit, VIDA, sustained its strong performance by dispatching 22,714 units in July 2026. This month marked a significant milestone with VIDA’s first global debut in Nepal, expanding Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility reach internationally. Additionally, VIDA unveiled its refreshed brand identity, VOOM, and introduced a new high-capacity 4.4 kWh variant, offering enhanced range and performance for electric scooter users.

Domestic ICE Business Maintains Robust Retail Momentum

Hero MotoCorp’s domestic Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) business recorded dispatches of 478,689 units in July 2026, compared to 401,171 units in the previous year, reflecting approximately 19% year-on-year growth. This growth was propelled by healthy retail performance across its motorcycle and scooter segments. The Splendor and new Passion models continued to show strong retail traction, supported by the Glamour X and upgraded Super Splendor XTEC 2.0. The scooter portfolio also experienced significant growth, led by the Destini and Xoom series. To further enhance its market position, Hero MotoCorp launched a new marketing initiative for the Hero Destini, titled “Hero Ka Scooter, Scooter Ka Hero.”

Global Business Expands Market Presence with New Entries

The company’s Global Business unit reported dispatches of 32,013 units in July 2026, driven by aggressive international expansion. Hero MotoCorp officially entered new markets in Ecuador and Germany. The entry into Germany signifies a major milestone, marking it as Hero MotoCorp’s 53rd global market and underscoring the company’s strategy to deliver premium mobility solutions worldwide.

Commitment to “Make in India for India and the World” Continues

In a significant move to bolster its operational foundation, Hero MotoCorp laid the foundation stone for its second state-of-the-art Global Parts Center (GPC) in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. This new facility will serve as a strategic hub for both domestic and export spare parts logistics. The expansion also aims to scale up annual production capacity at the Tirupati plant, which is where 100% of Hero MotoCorp’s EV portfolio is engineered and manufactured. This initiative, coupled with ongoing investments in Ather Energy and EV ecosystems, reinforces the company’s long-term vision for sustainable mobility.
