Hero MotoCorp Achieves Strong Sales Growth in October 2026
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has reported a significant increase in its sales figures for October 2026. The company’s total dispatches stood at 7,34,403 units, an impressive 16% year-on-year growth compared to 6,35,808 units in the same period last year. This growth was observed across both its motorcycle and scooter portfolios, including electric vehicles.
Healthy Retail Momentum and VIDA’s Electric Growth
The month also saw strong retail momentum, with VAHAN registrations reaching 589,665 units. Hero MotoCorp’s emerging mobility business unit, VIDA, continued its upward trajectory in October 2026. VIDA dispatched 30,143 units and achieved an 80% year-on-year retail growth. This performance led to an increase in VIDA’s market share in the electric two-wheeler segment to 13.6% in October 2026, up from 11.1% in the corresponding period last year.
Domestic ICE Business and Premium Segment Expansion
The domestic ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) business delivered strong growth, with dispatches of 6,75,017 units in October 2026, a 14% YoY increase from 5,90,806 units in the previous year. Scooters and 100cc motorcycles were key drivers of this performance. Hero MotoCorp also strengthened its presence in the premium segment by launching the new Xtreme 160R 4V and Xtreme 250R.
Global Business Expansion
The company’s Global Business recorded dispatches of 29,319 units in October 2026. Hero MotoCorp continues to focus on strengthening its global portfolio with upcoming scooter and premium motorcycle launches and has sustained strong retail momentum in key international markets, including Colombia and Bangladesh.
