HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG) has officially commenced operations at its newest facility, HCG Cancer Hospital, Hebbal. Launched on May 19, 2026, the hospital is set to provide a full spectrum of oncology services. With a capacity of up to 132 beds, the center aims to address the long-standing need for a dedicated, comprehensive cancer treatment facility in North Bengaluru, allowing residents to access specialized care without the need for extensive travel across the city.
Advanced Precision Technology
A standout feature of the new hospital is the installation of the Elekta Unity MR-Linac, making it the first of its kind in the state of Karnataka. This platform represents the forefront of precision radiation therapy by integrating high-quality MRI imaging directly with a linear accelerator. This combination allows for highly precise, adaptive cancer treatment, significantly enhancing the accuracy and effectiveness of care for patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Investment and Strategic Development
The total investment for this new infrastructure project stands at approximately INR 129 Crores. To maintain a strong balance sheet while executing this expansion, the company utilized a strategic mix of debt and internal accruals.
