The decision was formalized during the company’s 100th Annual General Meeting, which took place on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. This strategic enhancement aims to provide greater financial flexibility for future endeavors.
Details of Share Capital Adjustment
The authorized share capital has been revised upwards from its previous figure of ₹300,00,00,000 (Rupees Three Hundred Crore Only). This original capital comprised 290,00,00,000 Equity Shares of ₹1/- each and 1,00,00,000 Redeemable Preference Shares of ₹10/- each. Following the approval, the new authorized share capital stands at ₹400,00,00,000 (Rupees Four Hundred Crore Only). This new structure includes 390,00,00,000 Equity Shares of ₹1/- each and continues with 1,00,00,000 Redeemable Preference Shares of ₹10/- each. This adjustment necessitates a consequential alteration to Clause V of the Company’s Memorandum of Association.
