Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC) has announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a standalone revenue of ₹981.7 crore and a net profit of ₹37.1 crore. On a consolidated basis, revenue stood at ₹993.4 crore with a profit of ₹51.1 crore. HCC also secured new orders worth ₹125 crore and emerged as the lowest bidder for projects valued at ₹2,124 crore.
HCC Announces Q1 FY27 Financial Performance
Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (HCC) has officially released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, ending on June 30, 2026. The company reported a standalone revenue of ₹981.7 crore, a slight decrease from ₹1,069.0 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The standalone net profit for the quarter stood at ₹37.1 crore, down from ₹38.6 crore year-on-year.
Consolidated Financial Highlights
On a consolidated basis, HCC’s revenue for Q1 FY27 was ₹993.4 crore, compared to ₹1,091.3 crore in Q1 FY26. The consolidated profit saw a marginal increase to ₹51.1 crore from ₹50.7 crore in the prior year’s quarter. EBITDA margins for the quarter were reported at 10.7%, a decrease from 14.9% in Q1 FY26.
Order Wins and Business Development
In a positive development, HCC secured new orders amounting to ₹125 crore during the quarter. Furthermore, the company emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for projects valued at ₹2,124 crore, with HCC’s share estimated at ₹1,671 crore. Bids aggregating approximately ₹9,997 crore are currently under evaluation, indicating a healthy pipeline for future projects.
Project Execution Update
Execution across HCC’s project portfolio remained on track. Key achievements include the breakthrough of Head Race Tunnel (HRT) Faces 2 and 3 for the 520 MW Tapovan Vishnugad Hydroelectric Project. At the 1,000 MW Vishnugad Pipalkoti Hydroelectric Project, the Machine Hall for Units 1 and 2 was handed over, and HRT excavation reached 85%. The Indore Metro project saw TBM deployment commence, and progress was noted in other segments including the Patna Metro and Agardanda Creek Bridge.
Industrial and Nuclear Segments
In the industrial segment, Hindalco’s Aditya Aluminium Smelter expansion project received approval for its first pot shell prototype. In the nuclear vertical, HCC continued its work on the Fast Reactor Fuel Cycle Facility, recently completing deliveries for Rajasthan Atomic Power Project Units 7 & 8.
