Greaves Cotton: Q1 FY27 Revenue Surges 31% to ₹974 Crore

Greaves Cotton Limited announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, reporting a consolidated revenue of ₹974 crore, marking a substantial 31% year-on-year growth. The company’s performance was driven by disciplined execution across its diversified businesses and strategic investments, including the establishment of a new international subsidiary in Dubai, UAE. Standalone revenue also saw a healthy increase of 16% YoY.

Greaves Cotton Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Greaves Cotton Limited, a prominent Indian diversified engineering company, has announced its financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a consolidated revenue of ₹974 crore, representing a significant 31% year-on-year increase. This robust growth underscores the effectiveness of its ‘Greaves.Next’ strategy, which focuses on strengthening core businesses, expanding international presence, and making strategic investments for future growth.

Financial Highlights: Consolidated and Standalone

On a consolidated basis, the company achieved a revenue of ₹974 crore for Q1 FY27, with EBITDA standing at ₹56 crore and Operating Profit Before Tax (PBT) at ₹27 crore. The standalone revenue for the same period was ₹629 crore, up 16% year-on-year, with EBITDA at ₹71 crore and Operating PBT at ₹67 crore.

Key Business Developments and Strategic Initiatives

During the quarter, Greaves Cotton strengthened its international footprint with the incorporation of Greaves International Trading FZE in Dubai, UAE, establishing a regional hub for enhanced customer engagement and distribution. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to future-ready businesses through investments in Greaves Electric Mobility, subscribing to its rights issue of approximately ₹331 crore. Furthermore, Greaves Finance expanded its Assets Under Management to cross ₹560 crore.

Business Segment Performance

Energy Solutions

This segment reported a revenue growth of 21% YoY, driven by strong demand in infrastructure, manufacturing, and industrial applications. Domestic sales of the Medium Horsepower (MHP) genset portfolio grew by 32% YoY.

Mobility Solutions

The Mobility Solutions business saw an 18% year-on-year revenue growth. Automotive engines experienced robust growth of 36% YoY, and Engineered Components grew by 14% YoY, supported by healthy domestic demand and export momentum. Greaves Electric Mobility’s electric two-wheeler volumes more than doubled, growing 101% year-on-year, increasing market share to 5.6%.

Industrial Solutions

This segment witnessed sustained demand across defence, marine, and agriculture applications, indicating strengthened engagement with OEM customers.
