Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML), the electric mobility arm of Greaves Cotton, has announced a significant technology upgrade for its popular Ampere Magnus G Max electric scooter. The enhanced model is now equipped with over 30+ IoT-enabled connected features, powered by the new NxG.io software platform. This upgrade aims to provide riders with an easier, safer, and more convenient everyday riding experience.
Key New Features and Technology
The upgraded Magnus G Max introduces several advanced features, including IoT connectivity, Cruise Control, Hill Hold Assist, and Turn-by-Turn Navigation displayed on a new 5-inch PMVA digital cluster. Additionally, smart features like Find My Scooter and Ping My Scooter have been integrated to simplify vehicle location. The connected ecosystem also provides real-time charging status, live tracking, geo-fencing, and remote vehicle diagnostics via the Ampere Connect App.
The scooter also features a new Cinnamon Copper colour option, complementing the existing premium dual-tone colors. The new Ampere Magnus G Max is priced at INR 1,09,999.
Performance and Ownership Proposition
In terms of performance, the scooter is powered by a 2.4 kW peak motor and a 3 kWh LFP battery, offering an IDC-certified range of 142 km and a real-world range of over 100 km, with a top speed of 65 kmph. Greaves highlights the scooter’s next-generation LFP battery technology, designed for a long battery life of up to 2,00,000 km. The ownership experience is further bolstered by a 5-year/75,000 km battery warranty.
