Gravita India Ltd. Q4 FY 2026 Results and Strategic Expansion Initiatives

Gravita India Ltd. has announced strong financial performance for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2026. The company reported a significant increase in standalone annual net profit to ₹297.02 crore. Alongside its financial results, the company unveiled a strategic ₹160 crore investment to set up a new Copper Recycling Plant in Mandvi, Gujarat, and announced the closure of its subsidiary, Recycling Infotech LLP, to streamline operations.

Robust Annual Financial Performance

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Gravita India reported a standalone revenue from operations of ₹3,481.37 crore. The standalone net profit for the year stood at ₹297.02 crore, reflecting substantial growth compared to the previous year. On a consolidated basis, the group achieved even higher results, with a yearly revenue of ₹4,265.27 crore and a profit after tax of ₹378.33 crore.

Strategic Growth and Expansion

As part of its long-term growth strategy, the Board of Directors has approved the establishment of a new Copper Recycling Plant at Mandvi, Gujarat. This greenfield project involves an estimated capital expenditure (Capex) of ₹160 crore. The company anticipates that this facility will drive strategic diversification of its business operations, enable the effective monetization of existing land assets, and contribute to long-term value creation for its shareholders.

Operational Changes and Governance

The company also announced the voluntary closure of its subsidiary, Recycling Infotech LLP, as part of an effort to optimize its business structure. Furthermore, the company has updated its internal governance framework by appointing M/s Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP as the new internal auditor for the 2026-27 financial year, succeeding PwC following the completion of their tenure.

Recent Strategic Acquisitions

Earlier in the final quarter, on March 12, 2026, Gravita India completed the acquisition of a 98.95% equity stake in Rashtriya Metal Industries Limited (RMIL) for a total consideration of ₹559.08 crore. This acquisition adds significant manufacturing capacity in the copper and copper alloy segment, with an integrated facility located in Sarigam, Gujarat, further strengthening the company’s market presence.
