Robust Financial Performance
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Gravita India achieved significant growth. The company’s consolidated revenue from operations rose to ₹4,265.27 crore, up from ₹3,868.77 crore in the previous year. Profit after tax for the same period stood at ₹378.33 crore, demonstrating a healthy increase over the ₹312.90 crore reported in FY2025. Standalone results also remained strong, with annual revenue of ₹3,481.37 crore and a profit of ₹297.02 crore.
Strategic Growth Initiatives
To drive future value, the company will establish a Copper Recycling Plant in Mandvi, Gujarat. This project involves a capital expenditure of approximately ₹160 crore. The facility is expected to provide strategic business diversification, enable the monetization of existing land assets, and significantly contribute to long-term shareholder value creation.
Corporate Developments
As part of its organizational streamlining efforts, the Board of Directors has decided to close its subsidiary, Recycling Infotech LLP. The company also announced a change in its internal audit leadership, appointing Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP as the new internal auditor for FY2026-27, succeeding PricewaterhouseCoopers Services LLP (PwC) upon the completion of their tenure.
Segment and Acquisition Updates
The company continues to bolster its market position, recently acquiring a 98.95% stake in Rashtriya Metal Industries Limited (RMIL) for ₹559.08 crore. RMIL, which operates an integrated manufacturing facility in Sarigam, Gujarat, will strengthen Gravita’s presence in the copper and copper alloy manufacturing sector. The segment-wise performance highlights Lead as the primary revenue driver, contributing ₹3,771.10 crore to the consolidated total.
