Grasim Industries Limited has released its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27). The company showcased impressive growth, with revenue increasing by 21% year-on-year to ₹28,835 crore. This significant revenue jump was attributed to an all-round strong performance across its core business segments: Cement, Paints, and B2B E-commerce.

Revenue Growth

The consolidated revenue for Q1FY27 stood at ₹28,835 crore, a substantial increase compared to ₹23,733 crore in Q1FY26. The Cement business revenue grew by 16% YoY to ₹24,648 crore, primarily driven by volume growth. The Paints and B2B E-commerce segments also contributed positively to the overall revenue performance.

EBITDA Performance

Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter rose by 17% year-on-year to ₹5,002 crore, up from ₹4,291 crore in Q1FY26. This improvement in profitability was led by enhanced margins in the Cement business and improved operational efficiencies in the Paints and B2B E-commerce sectors.

Segmental Performance

The company’s investor presentation highlights that the Cement revenue grew by 16% YoY to ₹24,648 crore, largely due to increased sales volumes. The EBITDA growth of 17% YoY to ₹5,002 crore reflects higher profitability in the Cement business coupled with the enhanced performance of the Paints and B2B E-commerce divisions.

Other Key Business Updates

The presentation also details performance updates across other business segments. Cellulosic Fibres saw revenue grow by 12% YoY to ₹4,530 crore, with EBITDA growing approximately 2x to ₹632 crore. The Chemicals segment revenue grew by 10% YoY, mainly driven by Chlorine Derivatives and Specialty Chemicals, while EBITDA grew by 16% YoY. The Financial Services segment reported revenue growth of 28% YoY, with a Total Lending Portfolio increase of 32% YoY to ₹2,19,289 crore.
