Grasim Industries Limited is pleased to announce the inauguration of Phase 1 of its state-of-the-art CPVC Resin manufacturing plant. This significant milestone, located in Vilayat, Gujarat, was achieved today, 16th June 2026. The project represents a key collaboration with Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Private Limited, underscoring a strategic expansion into the production of Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) resin within India.
Capacity and Future Production
This newly inaugurated facility has a planned capacity of approximately 50,000 metric tonnes per annum. The company has previously informed stakeholders about the execution of agreements for this project and the construction of what is set to be the world’s largest single-site CPVC resin facility.
