New Infrastructure Initiative in Gurugram
Godrej Properties Limited (GPL) has announced the successful opening of a significant new road infrastructure project in Gurugram. The 24-metre-wide government road, developed in collaboration with the Haryana government, directly links Sector 49 to the Southern Peripheral Road (SPR). This development is expected to significantly improve everyday accessibility for multiple residential communities and bolster connectivity between prominent areas like Godrej Aristocrat and the Golf Course Extension Road.
Government Collaboration and Benefits
The road was inaugurated by Shri Rao Narbir Singh, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, Government of Haryana. This project is part of the Haryana government’s planned road network and was constructed by GPL on land acquired by the government. The new route is now open for public use and aims to strengthen last-mile connectivity, ease neighbourhood movement, and provide direct access to the SPR for residents. It also improves access to key social infrastructure such as DAV Public School and Sai Mandir.

Shri Rao Narbir Singh highlighted the importance of such collaborations, stating, “As Gurugram continues to evolve into one of India’s most important urban centres, the need for quality infrastructure that supports everyday mobility becomes increasingly important.”
