The data also includes Year-to-Date (YTD) figures for FY2027 and the previous fiscal year, FY2026, offering a comprehensive view of operational performance across its airport portfolio.
Key Highlights for July 2026 & YTD FY2027
The report emphasizes traffic resilience at GMR Airports, with a total of 9.3 million passengers served in July 2026, a slight increase of 0.4% year-on-year. Domestic traffic saw a marginal decrease of 0.1%, while international traffic grew by 2.0%. Over YTD FY27, average monthly traffic has been sustained at approximately 10 million passengers, with a projected 4-year Total Pax CAGR of 10.2%, driven by international traffic expansion.
Significant milestones for YTD FY27 include crossing the 39.5 million passenger mark, setting new records for both total and domestic YTD passenger traffic. Delhi Airport (DEL) is highlighted for its highest-ever YTD Total Pax, YTD Domestic Pax, and YTD ATMs.
Airport-Specific Performance
Delhi Airport (DEL) experienced robust growth, with total passengers reaching 6.0 million in July 2026 (up 3.7% YoY) and 26.4 million YTD FY2027 (up 6.1% YoY). The airport also saw strong performance in cargo handling, with 4.2 lakh Metric Tonnes handled in YTD FY27, an 11.8% YoY increase.
Hyderabad Airport (HYD) showed a notable recovery in international traffic, reaching 0.5 million passengers in July 2026. YTD FY2027 figures indicate a Total Pax growth of 11.5%. Hyderabad Airport also achieved Level 5 Accreditation in the ACI World Airport Customer Experience Program and was recognized as the 4th Most Family-Friendly Airport.
Mopa (Goa) Airport (GOX) reported a decline in traffic for July 2026, with Total Pax at 0.34 million (down 21.8% YoY). However, the airport is focusing on commercial growth and portfolio updates, including new airport advertising infrastructure and premium office leasing.
Nagpur Airport, which GMR assumed operational control of on June 25, 2026, is included in the YTD and FY26 figures for reference. Its July 2026 traffic figures are incorporated into the consolidated metrics.
The report also touches upon factors affecting traffic, such as geopolitical instability impacting international traffic and route rationalization affecting domestic growth. Medan airport’s domestic traffic has been influenced by supply-side constraints due to fleet maintenance issues.
