Gateway Distriparks Reports Q2 FY27 Financial Results

Gateway Distriparks Limited (GDL), a prominent multimodal logistics company in India, has released its financial results for the second quarter and first half of the fiscal year ending September 30, 2026. The announcement highlights stable operational performance despite macroeconomic challenges.

Key Financial Highlights (Q2 FY27)

The company’s Total Revenue for the quarter stood at ₹585.6 crore, marking a 2.66% increase from ₹570.4 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year (Q2 FY26). Chairman’s Commentary

Prem Kishan Dass Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, expressed optimism about the company’s performance and future prospects. He highlighted a strong recovery in the container business compared to Q1, with revenue growing by 12%, EBITDA by 15.3%, and PAT by 23%. He also pointed to ongoing geopolitical uncertainties and a subdued macroeconomic environment as factors influencing performance. The commencement of EXIM operations at Ankleshwar, progress on the Indore ICD, and benefits from India’s trade agreements are expected to drive future growth. Additionally, Snowman Logistics is on track to expand its network capacity.

Tax Regime Change

The company has transitioned to a new tax regime effective April 01, 2026, opting for a concessional tax rate under Section 115BAA. This regime requires the company not to avail deductions under Section 80-IA of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The tax rate for the current year is 25.17%, compared to an effective tax rate of 9.57% in the previous year, primarily due to MAT credit utilization. Despite the higher tax rate, the cash outgo for tax payment remains relatively stable.
