The company reported a revenue from operations of ₹7,002.16 crore, a 38% increase year-on-year. Profit before tax rose by 43% to ₹1,005 crore, and profit after tax grew by 42% to ₹748 crore. These strong results were driven by disciplined execution and a record delivery of eight warships.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited (GRSE) has declared its financial results for the fiscal year 2025-26, highlighting a period of exceptional performance. The company recorded its best-ever financial and physical performance, underscored by the conferment of Navratna status by the Government of India in recognition of its consistent financial and operational achievements.
Key Financial Highlights
Revenue from operations for FY 2025-26 reached ₹7,002.16 crore, marking a substantial increase of 38% compared to the previous year. This milestone signifies a significant leap, breaching the ₹7,000 crore mark for the first time. Profit before tax saw a robust growth of 43%, reaching ₹1,005 crore, while profit after tax increased by 42% to ₹748 crore. Furthermore, Earnings Per Share (EPS) improved from ₹46.04 to ₹65.29, and EBIDTA expanded by 41% to ₹1,070 crore.
Operational Achievements
Operationally, the year was marked by the delivery of eight frontline warships to the Indian Navy, the highest in the company’s history, with three ships delivered on a single day – a first for the nation. Two P17A advanced frigates and three Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft were delivered ahead of schedule. All delivered ships have already been commissioned into the Indian Navy, testifying to the quality of construction and the trust of the customer.
Order Book and Future Outlook
The company’s order book stands at ₹13,596 crore as of 30 June 2026, covering shipbuilding orders worth ₹13,296 crore across 11 projects comprising 44 platforms. The upcoming Next Generation Corvette (NGC) contract, valued at approximately ₹33,000 crore, is expected to significantly boost the order book. GRSE is also strengthening its position in non-defence and export shipbuilding, with export revenue surging to ₹270.70 crore, a growth of 268%.
