Key Financial Highlights

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, GAIL reported a net profit after tax of ₹4,292.33 crore. This represents a substantial improvement compared to the ₹1,886.34 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year (ended March 31, 2026). The total comprehensive income for the quarter stood at ₹3,519.11 crore.

Revenue and Expenses

The company’s revenue from operations for the quarter amounted to ₹38,981.63 crore. Total expenses were reported at ₹33,780.31 crore, resulting in a profit before tax of ₹5,773.23 crore.

Segment Performance

The consolidated segment-wise results indicate varied performance across different business segments. Notably, the Natural Gas Transmission/Marketing segment showed healthy profits. Detailed segment results for revenue, profit before interest and tax, assets, and liabilities have been provided, offering insights into the operational contributions of each division.

Other Disclosures

In line with regulatory requirements, GAIL also disclosed information regarding its debt-equity ratio, debt service coverage ratio, and other financial ratios. The company confirmed that funds raised through a private placement of Rs. 1575.00 crore on 20/12/2022 have been utilized for their intended purpose without deviation. Furthermore, no outstanding defaults on loans or debt securities were reported as of June 30, 2026.
