GAIL India: Reports Robust FY26 Performance with Strong Growth Initiatives

The company achieved a Gross Sales of ₹1,38,328.48 crore and a Profit After Tax of `6,968.30 crore. GAIL India Reports Strong FY 2025-26 Performance

GAIL (India) Limited has presented its Board’s Report for the financial year 2025-26, highlighting a successful year marked by overall growth in operations and sales. The company’s financial highlights reveal a Gross Sales of ₹1,38,328.48 crore, a slight increase from the previous year, and a Net Sales of ₹1,38,232.91 crore. The Profit After Tax stood at `6,968.30 crore for the fiscal year.

Strategic Initiatives and Growth Areas

The company’s strategic outlook integrates growth in core businesses with targeted investments in value addition, clean energy, digitalization, and global partnerships. Key initiatives include the expansion of its natural gas pipeline network to approximately ~18,700 km, with an additional ~1500 km under various stages of construction. This expansion aims to strengthen connectivity across the country and cater to the increased demand for natural gas.

GAIL is also actively expanding its footprint in compressed biogas (CBG) and renewable energy. The company’s renewable energy portfolio has increased to a total installed capacity of 154 MW, comprising ~118 MW from wind energy and ~36 MW from solar energy. Furthermore, GAIL has set an ambitious target of establishing 26 CBG plants by 2030 and is exploring opportunities in green hydrogen production.
