G R Infraprojects Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Nasarpore Malotha Highway Private Limited, has officially executed a concession agreement with the National Highways Authority of India. The project involves the four-lane upgradation of a 60.21 km section of NH-56 in Gujarat, executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The estimated cost for this infrastructure development is INR 1453.57 crore, excluding GST, with a completion period of 910 days.
Project Details and Scope
The project entails the conversion of the existing two-lane carriageway into a four-lane divided carriageway. Stretching across 60.21 kilometers, the route connects Nasarpore Village in Umarpada Taluka to Malotha Village in Vyara Taluka. This critical infrastructure expansion on NH-56 is expected to significantly improve connectivity and logistics efficiency in the Gujarat region.
Strategic Execution via HAM
The project is being executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), a framework designed to balance risk between the government and private developers. With an estimated project cost of INR 1453.57 crore (excluding GST), this agreement underscores the company’s continued focus on strengthening India’s road network. The construction and subsequent operational phases are structured to follow a timeline of 910 days from the appointed date, marking a significant addition to the company’s current project portfolio.
