Fortis Healthcare: Q1 FY27 Revenue Up 17.5% to ₹2,545 Crore

Fortis Healthcare announced its financial results for the first quarter of FY27, reporting a 17.5% year-on-year increase in consolidated revenue to ₹2,545 crore. Consolidated EBITDA grew by 15.8% to ₹568 crore, with a margin of 22.3%. Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 3.6% to ₹263 crore. The hospital business saw revenue growth of 19%, while the diagnostics segment recorded a 10.2% increase in gross revenue.

Fortis Healthcare Reports Strong Q1 FY27 Performance

Fortis Healthcare Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), showcasing robust growth across key financial metrics. The company’s consolidated revenue reached ₹2,545 crore, marking a significant increase of 17.5% compared to ₹2,167 crore in Q1 FY26. This growth was primarily driven by strong performance in both its hospital and diagnostics businesses.

Key Financial Highlights

The consolidated Operating EBITDA for the quarter stood at ₹568 crore, an increase of 15.8% from Q1 FY26. The operating EBITDA margin was reported at 22.3%. Profit Before Tax (PBT) was ₹354 crore, up by 4.6%. Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT) for the quarter was ₹263 crore, a growth of 3.6% over the same period last year.

Hospital Business Performance

The hospital business demonstrated strong revenue growth, increasing by 19% to INR 2,187 Cr compared to INR 1,838 Cr in Q1 FY26. Occupancy rates remained stable at 69%. The Average Revenue Per Occupied Bed (ARPOB) saw an increase to INR 2.71 Cr per annum. Revenue from focus specialties such as Oncology, Neurosciences, and Cardiac Sciences grew by 16.9%, contributing 62% to the overall hospital revenues.

Diagnostics Business Growth

The diagnostics business, under Agilus, reported gross revenues of INR 407 Cr, a growth of 10.2% compared to INR 369 Cr in Q1 FY26. The operating EBITDA for the diagnostics segment stood at INR 97 Cr, and the operating EBITDA margin was 23.9%, an improvement from 23.0% in the prior year period.

Balance Sheet Overview

As of June 30, 2026, the company’s Net Debt to EBITDA ratio stood at 1.01x, compared to 0.92x for Q1 FY26. Shareholder’s Equity increased to ₹10,472 crore, and Total Capital Employed was ₹13,667 crore.
