The company achieved a revenue of ₹2,013.2 crore, marking a significant 44% growth compared to ₹1,395.5 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This growth was driven by strong volume increases in Electrical Wires (up 7%) and higher realizations in the Communication Cables segment.
Profitability Surge
The company’s profitability also saw a substantial improvement. Profit after tax for the quarter stood at ₹221.3 crore, representing a 59% increase from ₹138.8 crore reported in the same period last year. This enhanced profitability reflects strong operational performance and effective cost management, despite challenges such as limited fuel availability impacting certain product categories.
Board Approvals and Key Appointments
The Board of Directors, in its meeting held on August 11, 2026, approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Additionally, the Board approved the re-appointment of several key individuals:
- Mrs. Vanessa Singh as an Independent Director for a second term of five years.
- Mr. Zubin Billimoria as an Independent Director for a second term of five years.
- Mr. Sriraman Raghuraman as an Independent Director for a second term of five years.
- Mr. Ratnakar Barve as Whole-time Director for a second term of five years.
