Fine Organic Industries: Q1 FY27 Revenue Climbs 18% to ₹694.2 Crore

Fine Organic Industries Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. Revenue from operations saw an 18.0% increase year-over-year, reaching ₹694.2 crore. EBITDA grew by 42.4% to ₹176.0 crore, with PAT rising 18.0% to ₹138.1 crore.

Fine Organic Industries Limited has released its consolidated financial performance for the first quarter of the financial year 2027 (Q1FY27), which concluded on June 30, 2026. The company reported a significant year-over-year growth across key financial metrics.

Revenue and Profit Growth

Revenue from Operations for Q1FY27 stood at ₹694.2 crore, marking an 18.0% increase compared to ₹588.4 crore in the same quarter of the previous year (Q1FY26). Sequentially, revenue grew by 11.0% from ₹625.3 crore in Q4FY26.

EBITDA for the quarter reached ₹176.0 crore, a substantial 42.4% rise from ₹123.6 crore in Q1FY26. The EBITDA margin improved to 25.3% from 21.0% in the prior year’s comparable quarter. Compared to Q4FY26, EBITDA increased by 35.5% with a margin of 20.8%.

Profit After Tax (PAT) grew by 18.0% to ₹138.1 crore in Q1FY27, up from ₹117.1 crore in Q1FY26. The PAT margin remained stable at 19.9%, consistent with the previous year’s quarter, and up from 17.6% in Q4FY26.

Earnings Per Share (EPS) was reported at ₹45.06 for Q1FY27, an increase from ₹38.19 in Q1FY26.

Key Performance Drivers in Q1FY27

Revenue Composition and Demand Trends

In Q1FY27, exports constituted approximately 60% of the total revenue. The company noted that overall demand remained stable, with both export and domestic revenue streams demonstrating improved performance during the quarter.

Operating Environment and Cost Dynamics

Raw material prices were elevated in Q1FY27 compared to FY26. However, the sequential increase over Q4FY26 was marginal. Utility costs increased significantly, primarily attributed to higher fuel prices stemming from the ongoing West Asia geopolitical crisis.

Full & Final Settlement for Badlapur Plant Insurance Claim

The company provided an update on the insurance claim related to the fire incident on January 18, 2024. The claim for property damage and inventory losses was finally settled at ₹4.35 crore in July 2026. Interim settlements totaling ₹1.80 crore had been received earlier. These adjustments have been incorporated into the standalone financial statements for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. It was also noted that during Q1 FY26, the company received a final settlement of ₹6.98 crore for a business interruption claim, recognized as an exceptional item.
