Escorts Kubota Reports Strong July 2026 Sales Growth
Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business has posted a significant 22.0% increase in tractor sales for July 2026, reaching a total of 8,731 units. This growth is attributed to a positive performance across both wholesale and retail segments, supported by improved rainfall and a pickup in Kharif sowing activity, which bolstered rural demand.
Domestic and Export Tractor Performance
Domestic tractor sales saw a notable rise of 23.7%, with 8,194 units sold in July 2026, up from 6,624 units in the same period last year. Export tractor sales also experienced positive momentum, growing by 1.3% to 537 units from 530 units sold in July 2025.
Construction Equipment Business Soars
In addition to strong tractor sales, Escorts Kubota’s Construction Equipment Business recorded an impressive volume growth of 49.2% in July 2026. The company sold 534 machines, a significant increase from the 358 machines sold in July 2025. This surge is driven by sustained infrastructure activity, government capital expenditure, a robust project pipeline, and growing export opportunities.
Cumulative Performance (April-July 2026)
For the April-July period of FY27, tractor sales stood at 45,593 units, an increase of 20.8% compared to 37,735 units in the corresponding period last year. However, export tractor sales for the same period saw a decline of 14.2%.
The construction equipment segment reported cumulative sales of 1,878 units for April-July FY27, marking a 32.9% growth over the 1,413 units sold in April-July FY26.
