Eicher Motors’ Royal Enfield brand has launched an updated version of its iconic Continental GT 650 motorcycle. Available in four colourways, the new model features a black-painted instrument cowl, stylish new LED indicators, and a USB Type-C fast charging port. The updated motorcycle will be available across all Royal Enfield dealerships in India starting August 14, 2026, with prices ranging from INR 3,58,427 to INR 3,87,667.

Eicher Motors, through its popular motorcycle brand Royal Enfield, has officially launched an updated version of its celebrated Continental GT 650 motorcycle. This latest iteration aims to enhance the distinctive style and modern practicality of the iconic café racer, while preserving its authentic character. The announcement was made on August 14, 2026.

Key Updates and Features

The updated Continental GT 650 comes equipped with several new features designed to improve both aesthetics and convenience for riders. These include a black-painted instrument cowl for a sharper look, stylish new LED trafficators for enhanced visibility, and a convenient USB Type-C fast charging port for charging devices on the go. Additionally, the Rocker Red variant now features a blacked-out engine, exhaust, and cast alloy wheels, complementing the existing Apex Grey variant.

Powertrain and Chassis

At the heart of the Continental GT 650 lies Royal Enfield’s reliable 648cc parallel-twin cylinder engine, which produces 47 horsepower at 7150 RPM and a peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5250 RPM. This is paired with a smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features a steel tubular double-cradle frame, developed in collaboration with Harris Performance, along with telescopic front forks and gas-charged twin rear shock absorbers, ensuring a poised and confidence-inspiring ride.

Pricing and Availability

The updated Continental GT 650 will be available for purchase across all Royal Enfield dealerships in India from August 14, 2026. The motorcycle is offered in several variants with the following ex-showroom prices:

  • Rocker Red – blacked-out engine with cast alloy wheels: INR 3,58,427
  • British Racing Green – polished engine with traditional spoke wheels: INR 3,58,427
  • Apex Grey – blacked-out engine with cast alloy wheels: INR 3,80,921
  • Mr Clean – polished engine with traditional spoke wheels: INR 3,87,667
