Eicher Motors: Reminds Physical Shareholders to Update KYC Details

Eicher Motors has issued a reminder to shareholders holding physical securities regarding the mandatory furnishing of Know Your Customer (KYC) details. This action is in compliance with SEBI directives and is crucial for shareholders to continue receiving dividends electronically and access company services without interruption. Shareholders are urged to submit updated PAN, KYC, and nomination details to the company’s Registrar and Transfer Agent, MUFG Intime India Private Limited.

Eicher Motors Urges KYC Updates for Physical Security Holders

Eicher Motors Limited has dispatched a reminder letter to its shareholders who hold securities in physical form, emphasizing the critical need to furnish updated Know Your Customer (KYC) details. This initiative is in accordance with the mandates set forth by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) through its master circulars, specifically referencing SEBI Master Circular No. SEBI/HO/38/13/(4)2026-MIRSD-POD/I/4298/2026 dated February 06, 2026, and SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/MIRSD/POD-1/P/CIR/2024/81 dated June 10, 2024.

Importance of KYC for Shareholders

The company highlights that the submission of essential details, including PAN, address with PIN code, mobile number, bank account details, and specimen signature, is mandatory for all holders of physical securities. Failure to update these details will result in the non-payment of dividends, which will only be disbursed electronically once the information is furnished. Furthermore, shareholders who have not complied with these requirements will be ineligible to lodge any grievances or avail of any services offered by the company.

How to Submit KYC Documents

Shareholders are requested to submit the required KYC Form and Form ISR-1, duly signed, along with necessary supporting documents. These forms and additional information, including SEBI circulars, are available on the Eicher Motors website (www.eichermotors.com) and the website of the Registrar and Transfer Agent, MUFG Intime India Private Limited (https://www.in.mpms.mufg.com).

Several submission modes are available:

  • In Person Verification (IPV): Presenting original documents to an authorized RTA representative.
  • Hard Copy: Submitting self-attested photocopies of relevant documents.
  • E-Sign: For shareholders with registered email IDs, scanned KYC documents with an e-sign can be sent to [email protected]. Investors can also upload KYC documents with e-sign via https://web.in.mpms.mufg.com/KYC/index.html.

Complying with these requirements at the earliest will ensure timely credit of dividends to the shareholders’ bank accounts.

This communication is for the information and records of the stock exchanges.
