Docon Technologies Private Limited, a key promoter and holding company of Thyrocare Technologies Limited, has announced the sale of a substantial block of shares. The transaction involved 1,57,69,696 equity shares, equating to approximately 9.9% of Thyrocare’s total paid-up share capital. This divestment was executed on August 13, 2026, through on-market trades, including block deals.
Shareholding Changes
Prior to this sale, Docon Technologies held 60.92% of Thyrocare’s total equity share capital. Following the disposal, the promoter’s shareholding has decreased to 51.02%. The disclosure, made under Regulation 29(2) of the SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, aims to inform stakeholders about this significant change in shareholding structure. Docon Technologies remains the promoter and holding company of Thyrocare.
Transaction Details
The total equity share capital of Thyrocare Technologies Limited before the transaction stood at 15,91,65,315 equity shares with a face value of Rs. 10 each. After the sale, Docon Technologies’ holding of shares carrying voting rights stands at 17,30,304 shares, representing 1.09% of the total share capital. The total diluted share/voting capital after the acquisition/sale is 8,12,00,000 shares, constituting 51.02%.
