DICABS: Q1 FY27 Revenue Surges 129% to ₹6,899 Crore

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DICABS) has announced robust financial results for the first quarter of FY27, with a remarkable 129% year-on-year increase in revenue to ₹6,899 crore. The company also reported substantial growth in EBITDA (+172% YoY to ₹846 crore) and PAT (+191% YoY to ₹585 crore), indicating strong operational efficiency and increasing profitability. These performance highlights reflect a significant turnaround and growth phase for the company.

Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited (DICABS) has declared impressive financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2027 (ended June 30, 2026). The company has demonstrated exceptional growth across key financial metrics, marking a significant upswing in its performance.

Revenue Growth Highlights

Revenue from operations for Q1 FY27 reached ₹6,899 crore, a substantial increase of 129% compared to ₹3,018 crore in the same quarter of the previous year (Q1 FY26). This top-line growth was primarily driven by higher volumes in conductors and EHV & HV cables, supported by an improved product mix and better realisations.

EBITDA and PAT Surge

Operating EBITDA saw a significant jump of 172% YoY to ₹846 crore in Q1 FY27, up from ₹311 crore in Q1 FY26. The EBITDA margin stood at a healthy 12.3%, an improvement of 196 basis points year-on-year. Profit After Tax (PAT) more than tripled, growing by 191% YoY to ₹585 crore from ₹201 crore in Q1 FY26. The net profit margin was reported at 8.5%.

Key Financial Trends

The company’s financial statements indicate a strong upward trend over the past few years. Revenue has grown 3.1 times in two years, while both EBITDA and PAT have seen 3.5 times growth in the same period. This sustained growth trajectory underscores the company’s expanding market presence and operational effectiveness.

Order Book Strength

DICABS also reported a robust order book of ₹3,687.55 crore as of August 11, 2026, an increase from ₹32,404 crore in March 2026. The order book is diversified across conductors (51.4%), MV Cables (29.0%), Data Centre (11.8%), and LT & Solar (7.8%).

Strategic Initiatives and Capacity

The company continues to focus on strategic initiatives, including the expansion of its TS Conductor AECC alliance, data-centre products, and eco/HTLS conductors. Capacity additions are underway with new CCV and Silane lines commissioned. The company is also exploring export certifications to tap into international markets. The current capacity utilisation for cables is 34% and for conductors is 20%, indicating significant headroom for growth.

Capital Expenditure Programme

DICABS is undertaking a significant capital expenditure programme across three key projects: LV (LT) Cables Expansion (₹133.59 Cr), Corrugation Lines (66/132 KV) (₹17.03 Cr), and the 6th CCV Line (in-principle approval). These projects are expected to unlock substantial revenue growth and improve operational capabilities.
