Diamond Power Infrastructure Limited announced the successful completion of its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) on July 28, 2026. The company has allotted 7,11,00,000 equity shares, each with a face value of ₹1, at an issue price of ₹227 per equity share. This price includes a premium of ₹226 per share, with a discount of ₹11.92 applied, which is 4.99% of the floor price.

Significant Capital Infusion

The QIP has raised a total amount of ₹1,61,397.00 lakhs, which translates to approximately ₹1,613.97 crore. This significant capital infusion is expected to strengthen the company’s financial position. The allotment took place on July 28, 2026, following the opening of the issue on July 23, 2026.

Impact on Share Capital

Following the allotment of these equity shares, the company’s paid-up equity share capital has seen an increase. It rose from 52,69,71,060 equity shares to 59,80,71,060 equity shares. The management committee approved the issue and allotment during its meeting held on July 28, 2026.

The attached annexures provide a comprehensive list of allottees who received more than 5% of the equity shares offered in the QIP. Notably, SMALLCAP WORLD FUND, INC received 72,32,200 shares, representing 10.17% of the total shares allotted. The list also includes various mutual funds from Motilal Oswal, HDFC, and HSBC, among others, detailing their respective allocations and percentages of the total issue size.
