Mr. Amir Alvi has been appointed as President – Manufacturing Operations, and Mr. Pandurang Landge has been redesignated as President – Manufacturing Excellence & Technology Development. Both appointments are effective from 1st September 2026, aiming to drive operational efficiency and technological advancement.

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited announced on 1st September 2026 a strategic strengthening of its manufacturing leadership. The company has established two new senior management positions within its manufacturing function to drive enhanced operational excellence and technological development.

Key Appointments and Redesignations

Effective from 1st September 2026, Mr. Amir Alvi has been appointed as the new President – Manufacturing Operations. Concurrently, Mr. Pandurang Landge, who previously held the designation of President – Manufacturing, has been redesignated as President – Manufacturing Excellence & Technology Development. Both individuals are now part of the company’s Senior Management Personnel.

Leadership Profiles

Mr. Amir Alvi

Mr. Alvi brings over thirty-six years of rich leadership experience in the Fertilizers & Chemicals Industries. His expertise spans Manufacturing, Plant Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and end-to-end Project Execution, including commissioning, P&L Management, and multi-site Manufacturing Operations. Prior to joining Deepak Fertilisers, he served at Coromandel International Ltd. as Executive VP & Head of Manufacturing to Chief Operating Officer (Fertilizers) and had a prior tenure of twenty-three years with Tata Chemicals Limited.

Mr. Pandurang Landge

Mr. Landge possesses 44 years of extensive domestic and overseas experience in operations and business conceptualisation. His background includes project execution, product development, and managing businesses. He started his career with Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers (RCF) and was instrumental in the execution and operation of world-scale Ammonia plants. He also spent 20 years in Saudi Arabia leading a venture that became a publicly listed company. Mr. Landge holds a Graduate Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), Bombay University.
