Data Patterns (India) Limited has announced its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year 2026-27, ending June 30, 2026. The company demonstrated robust performance, with a total revenue of ₹123.3 Cr, marking a significant increase of 12% from ₹110 Cr in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q1 FY25-26).

Revenue from operations saw a notable increase of 17%, rising from ₹99 Cr in Q1 FY26 to ₹116 Cr in Q1 FY27. While Operational EBIDTA slightly decreased to ₹31.4 Cr from ₹32.1 Cr in the prior year’s quarter, and Profit Before Tax (PBT) stood at ₹29.5 Cr compared to ₹34.0 Cr, Profit After Tax (PAT) for Q1 FY27 was ₹22.1 Cr, representing 19% of operating revenue.
Strategic Acquisition to Enhance Capabilities
In a significant strategic move, Data Patterns’ Board of Directors has also approved the proposed acquisition of a 100% stake in ST Advanced Composites Pvt Ltd. (STAC), a Chennai-based composite manufacturing company. The total consideration for this acquisition is ₹10 Cr. This move is expected to establish in-house capabilities for critical composite parts required for the company’s radar and other advanced programs. The integration of STAC’s expertise is anticipated to broaden Data Patterns’ value proposition within its product offerings.
Strong Order Book and Outlook
The company’s Chairman & Managing Director, Mr. Srinivasagopalan Rangarajan, commented on the performance, stating that the quarter met expectations. He highlighted an encouraging order inflow with over ₹226 Cr received so far in the financial year, with more in the pipeline. The overall order book stands at approximately ₹2,654 Cr, providing healthy revenue visibility. The company remains confident in achieving its full-year guidance, supported by the government’s focus on indigenous defense manufacturing.
Data Patterns’ core competencies lie in the design and development of electronic hardware, software, firmware, mechanical systems, and product prototyping, with extensive involvement across Radars, Electronic Warfare Suites, Communications, Avionics, and Small Satellites, serving key defense PSUs and government organizations.
